Our Wild Gulf Shrimp & Atlantic Albacore Tuna pack puts two crowd pleasing favorites in one place. Our Wild Gulf Shrimp are responsibly harvested according to US regulations and notably more tender with a mild, sweet finish. Albacore Tuna is known for its smooth, mild flavor compared to other tuna species and the sushi-grade quality gives it a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The freshness, flavor and health benefits are enhanced by our sustainable, US wild-catching methods.

Why we launched fish:

  • Over 90% of fish on the US market is factory farmed, often with loaded with antibiotics and preservatives.
  • Better quality fish is often hard to obtain with a highly inflated pricetag.
  • Fish is often mislabeled and farming practices are not transparent.
  • Buying fish from a brick and mortar store adds an extra step, which degrades freshness.

Fish the Public Goods way:

  • 100% US wild-caught—no factory farming.
  • Caught in the US for extra freshness and to save shipping resources.
  • Supports US fishing operations.
  • Humane treatment of fish. Wild caught fish experience less stress and illness than factory farmed fish.
  • Complete transparency. Everything is labeled down to the boat it was caught on.
  • Flash frozen with no need for preservatives.
  • Priced for accessibility.

Wild Gulf Shrimp
Defrost
Keep shrimp frozen until ready to use. Then thaw under refrigeration. Once defrosted, best to cook within 2 days.

Prep
Drain excess liquid and gently pat shrimp dry with a paper towel. Season simply or get creative.
Our Suggestion: A sprinkle of salt, a dash of olive oil, and a crack of fresh black pepper.

Cook
Sauté: Pre-heat a lightly-oiled pan on medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
Poach: Bring lightly-salted water to a high boil (with stock vegetables or broth if desired). Add unseasoned shrimp and turn off heat. Let shrimp sit for 6-8 minutes before removing.
