2 cups half and half, evaporated mIlk or mIlk substitute.
Optional: 1/4 lb chopped bacon or kielbasa, grated cheese.
Preparation Instructions:
- In 4 quart pot, cook bacon or sausage and drain fat.
- Add 6 cups water to meat and bring to a boil. Add potato mix then cover and reduce to simmer
- Cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Stir occasionalv to prevent scorch-ing.
- When potatoes are done add your choice of milk. Heat until warm, do not boil.
- Top with grated cheese (optional).
Salt and pepper to taste.
Makes 8 servings.
